Charlotte Street Foundation identifies the needs and fuels the evolution of an ever-changing multidisciplinary arts ecosystem, acting as its primary provocateur. We cultivate the contemporary, the exceptional, and the unexpected in the practice of artists working in and engaging with the Kansas City Art Community

“My work capitalizes on our desire to be tactile. Through my material choices and investigations, I create pieces that appeal to us on a visceral level; they beg to be touched. We constantly need to be tactile to relate to the world, to understand our physical environment and to fully comprehend an object’s fundamental properties. The control in my work has been my material; water and vinyl with hand dyeing processes. I create my work in response to the instinctive need to touch and observation of interaction.”
