Charlotte Street Foundation identifies the needs and fuels the evolution of an ever-changing multidisciplinary arts ecosystem, acting as its primary provocateur. We cultivate the contemporary, the exceptional, and the unexpected in the practice of artists working in and engaging with the Kansas City Art Community
A very late start but here is a timeline of what my studio has looked like for the last seven months!
The first changes I made were to paint the walls because I wanted to want to work in my space. I chose Cosmetic Peach (I really enjoy thinking about the names paint colors have and the person whose job it is to name them).
A few months after painting I bought a rug, stopped working at my desk and exclusively worked on my rug.
Below are images of my studio setup for a studio visit with Michael Schonhoff I had a few months ago.
Over the past few months, I have been making more progress as I discover what directions I don’t want to go in and what areas I want to delve more deeply in.
