Charlotte Street Foundation identifies the needs and fuels the evolution of an ever-changing multidisciplinary arts ecosystem, acting as its primary provocateur. We cultivate the contemporary, the exceptional, and the unexpected in the practice of artists working in and engaging with the Kansas City Art Community
Hi friends! I have a comic available in the Resist! comics anthology edited by Francoise Mouly, arts editor of the New Yorker, and Nadja Spiegelman. Also included: Dame Darcy, Bill Griffith, Lynda Barry, Alison Bechdel, Art Spiegelman & more. I hate to brag but there’s a really good Eurythmics joke in there!
These are available starting Sunday at Holy Cow Market & Monday at Josey Records & Revolution Records. Also: they’re free! Here’s a nice thingie in Hyperallergic.

Tomorrow (Saturday 1/28) I’m doing the live drawing event Hot Hands, as a fundraiser for Front/Space. Last year was fairly excruciating but also tons of fun so come say hi. Front/Space is a small, super-cool gallery here in KC & I’m honored to be included in a roster full of rad artists. Here’s a rare photo of me, as you can see I am a very beautiful woman, also very famous.

Otherwise it’s more of the same: Claymation coming soon, new comics in the next few months, more writing too. Someone publish my stupid book already!
