Charlotte Street Foundation identifies the needs and fuels the evolution of an ever-changing multidisciplinary arts ecosystem, acting as its primary provocateur. We cultivate the contemporary, the exceptional, and the unexpected in the practice of artists working in and engaging with the Kansas City Art Community
In the hustle and bustle of life, work, studio and New Year excitement – Charlotte Street Artists-in-residence, NDo have not yet introduced themselves.
Jahaira Aguilar and Andrew Lattner are Co-Founders of NDo, a team of artists seeking to bolster the creative community through innovative programming and public art. Jahaira and Andrew have worked closely since their time as undergraduates at the Kansas City Art Institute and often collaborate on visual installations.
NDo seeks to collaborate with local Kansas City property managers in an effort to activate unoccupied spaces with artists in the greater-Kansas City community.
Short-duration residencies give artists the opportunity to engage in a residency that is challenging and created for the first-time artist-in-residence. Allowing artists to participate gives them the opportunity to add experience to their CV in anticipation for more residencies to come in their future!
If you have a space that is unoccupied and are interested in discussing options of short-duration residency programs or long-term studio options, we want to hear from you!!
**NDo hopes to coordinate with property managers willing to open their space up to artists rather than leaving the space unoccupied. This can come in many forms – even one time events! We are so grateful to have an opportunity like charlotte street studios and would like to connect studio-seeking artists to available spaces if possible!
