Charlotte Street Foundation identifies the needs and fuels the evolution of an ever-changing multidisciplinary arts ecosystem, acting as its primary provocateur. We cultivate the contemporary, the exceptional, and the unexpected in the practice of artists working in and engaging with the Kansas City Art Community
Howdy and hello! This year I’ve been creating a new extensive body of work. Cut out spirits stain the page and crystal prayers made of maize. A new exploration of narrative, use of natural materials and relation of the space one inhabits. So please, stop by on April 25th, 26th and come rejoice and explore this new world with me.
There will be an alter installation for Ela, the deer shot and killed here in KC back in August. Help celebrate life and death. For death can be as sweet as the flowers we use to perfume our graves. Bring trinkets, flowers, toys, berries, candles etc; cherish all these tiny offerings.
There will also be some zines, prints, and a new collaborative piece with two other fellow residents. More info on these other projects soon to come. For more details check back again and be sure to visit rodolfomarron.com!
